Sundown is great for kids 0-12(ish). Loads of outdoor playgrounds, lots of rides with minimal height requirements and indoor spots if the weather turns. I used to go as a kid (a long time ago!) so it was really nostalgic going back. Loads of free parking right outside the park, the mascot bears to meet and some fab themed areas keep the day exciting. The Wild West section was a favourite for us, and the storybook land has all the favourites to explore in themed houses. There’s a small town set up with mock houses, you’ll need to duck as they’re very much geared around the kids size! The food isn’t great so I’d opt for a picnic, but would recommend indulging in a fresh donut! There are plenty of spots to picnic indoor and outdoor.

Sundown is a well established family attraction which offers year-round fairytale magic. We love visiting - every time we go there is something new and exciting to enjoy. From adorable miniature villages to go inside to the “Wild West” area, the installations are absorbing and so much fun for the children to explore. There are rides, adventure play and so much more. You could easily spend all day at Sundown. There are plenty of eateries on site, too. Sundown’s Christmas events are particularly impressive and we highly recommend anyone with small children to go and see Santa there!

Another fab trip to sundown adventure land. The park was clean, loads to do, not too busy and reasonably priced on entry. (Food is mainly chips etc but cheap). Loads of outdoor play areas, indoor play areas and our kids loved it. Loads of little rides, nothing too fast or scary. Can get round it in a day. We adore it here, just a shame it’s so far away from home. Staff here are fab too.

Fun filled day out!!! We visited sundown recently and had the best time! My little boy was able to go on all the rides which he loved and was able to explode everything! Lots of play areas as well if your child isn’t bothered about the rides. I love how it has all the classic children’s books characters in there and you can walk around and really get involved with your child and teach them new things. Plenty of places to pick up a drink and snacks and a nice cafe to get hot food. Prices were very reasonable and we were happy to pay them. We will defiantly be visiting again.

We absolutely loved our day out at Sundown: it was reasonably priced, hardly any one there (we went in November), food was good and well priced and the park was clean, well maintained and a great size for little legs. Soft play and loads of outdoor areas with LOADS of interactive bits for the kids-pushing buttons etc and loads of it was educational too. Our 2 loved it and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommended.
