I love delamere forest in all seasons. Delamere offers something for all the family, the gruffelo hunt for younger children, or den making for older, It's also dog friendly. Delamere also have a Go Ape visit website for breakdown of price and age suitability. Bike hire at delamere I find a bit pricey, I recommend you take your own bike if possible. The cafe has a good menu although if you have a large family like us can add up! Taking your own picnic is advised and there are lots of benches dotted around to eat at free of charge. Opening times vary by season Summer time: 8am-8pm weekdays and 8am-8pm weekends Winter time: 8am-5pm weekdays and 8am-5pm weekends
