Brand new for 2021, Dalkeith Country Park is a landmark Go Ape site which has brought Treetop Adventures for under 10s to Scotland for the very first time. The whole family can enjoy a high-wire, high thrill day out amongst the Treetops.

With three loops of loopy fun, Treetop Adventure is the first rung on the Go Ape ladder for little ones over 1m just getting their tree-legs. Can they balance along the half-trapeze? How high will they leap along the high fairy bridge? Will they stick the landing on our 3 breath-taking zips?

Treetop Adventure Plus is the next leap up for thrill seekers over 6 years old and 1.2m looking for that bit MORE. More height, even more daring crossings and an epic SOLO zip wire.

Diverging from our Scottish tradition, Treetop Challenge will also be made up of three loops of high-flying fun, with crossings fit for kings and queens of the jungle.

Situated within 1,000 acres of stunning historical estate and parkland, Dalkeith Country Park is the ideal family day out. After you’ve got your Go Ape certificate, sticker (and perhaps even medal) why not explore the forest around you? With waymarked walking trail cycling paths, a Palace, fishing spots (permits available to purchase onsite) and a campsite, there’s something for everyone.

Go Ape has 35 unique locations nationwide from Dartmoor to Aberdeen and 11 unique adventures just waiting to be experienced.
