Millets farm really is a all round gem! Initially millets farm is a FREE activity it houses an impressive amount of parking which should speak for itself as to how busy it becomes. There is a large Farm shop selling local produce & more. A lovely children’s outdoor play area, a wooded footpath walk, a animal walk which includes paddocks of Shetland ponies, goats, alpacas just to name a few. Within the same area is a carousel fairground ride & a side stall (both payable) there is also a enclosed staff monitored trampoline (again payable) There is 2 cafes/restaurants attached to Millets Farm serving lovely meals & offer both inside & outside seating but you are more than welcome to take a picnic as there is plenty of places to cop a spot! Millets Farm hosts numerous events each year from PYO, Pumpkin picking, a Maze & themed activity’s in the school holidays so check out there website to see what’s on & to pre book. Millets Farm also houses a huge Frosts Garden centre which also hosts seasonal activities, Millets Farm Falconry centre is on site & also the best soft play I have ever been to ‘Sprouts play barn’ these extra things are independent businesses on site so hold there own websites which will give you opening times & entrance fees. So all in all Millets farm has so much to Offer for MANY days out!! Reviews for the additional attractions can be found separately.

I found this place on wiki. A perfect half way point for my friend and I to travel to. We visited in November so lots of the facilities were closed. There was however still enough to keep four kids between the ages of 1 and 4 entertained. The park was open and a lot of the animals were still outside (ponys, rabbits, cows, sheep, goat, llama), not to mention the array of bird and duck on the lake. The cafe was kid friendly, with kids meal deals, good facilities and some drawing paper and crayons for the little ones.

Fab garden centre with lots of added extras for little ones- animals, carousel, play area and a new soft play is currently being built!
