Really fab morning @natural_history_museum Tring! It's all animal taxidermy but it's pretty fascinating - wooly mammoths, sharks, giant sloth, elephants, anacondas and a pretty extensive dog collection. Every child in there was having a great time, especially my one year old who was amazed by the Dodo and the lions, but mainly loved running around the exhibit!!! A couple hair pulling moments and it's not great for prams but it's definitely a great little visit. And its free! (You can donate £4 for an activity guide book) I would definitely recommend it. There is a cafe there doing a kids lunch box but the room itself is quite small.

We love this free museum! It's very well maintained and always has pens, clipboards and paper out for the children. There's also an animal dressing up box in the upstairs exhibit. I've been lots of times with my nephews, now 9 and 6, and they always love it. My little boy was only 6 months when we went last but still lots for him to look at! The animals and information is really interesting. We usually go for a walk along the canal afterwards for a nice, chilled day out.
