Paultons Park Home of Peppa Pig World

Paultons Park Home of Peppa Pig World

Open today from 1000 until 0500

You can’t do a review of Hampshire family days out without featuring probably our most popular location – Paultons Park & Peppa Pig World! It isn’t a cheap day out and definitely a treat for our family but the children love it and always speak about it for weeks after. We live the opposite side of the city from it but friends who are more local really rate the annual pass and will often pop up just to use the splash park after school in the summer. There is a good range of rides, slow toddler focused PPW with some faster rollercoasters in the rest of the park (too much for me, but I am a wimp). There is also the dinosaur themed Lost Kingdom, a splash park, play park, animals and birds to see and seasonal shows all set in 140 acres of parkland. Top Tip: Although the rides don’t open until 10am, the park actually opens for entry from 9.30 so it’s definitely worth arriving early, getting in and being there when the internal gates open. We head straight for PPW and do 2/3 rides straight away while the masses are working their way through and then do the rest of the park and return to Peppa again after 4pm as it's beginning to get quieter again. I would recommend bringing a picnic as the food isn’t great but they have realised how to make these things easier on us parents and their restaurant is licenced! It is so popular that they never offer discount codes but there is a slightly lower entrance rate if you book in advance online and if you're travelling from afar the hotel deals are worth looking at too.

Paultons park was amazing! It was cleaned very regularly, picnic areas, disabled access. Definitely worth the money. Rides available for all ages.

Lots of great open space even though it’s not a huge park - great mix between not feeling squished in but nothing is too much of a walk for little legs. Peppa pig world gets BUSY - would recommend the daddy pig cars or helicopters first thing. Some great rollercoasters for those that are tall enough - my 6 year old added some new ones to her list! Plenty of places to get food, the restaurant at the entrance had a good kids menu, wraps, jackets, salads and drinks. Loads of space for picnics though if that’s more your bag.

Tickets need to be prebooked prior to arrival. The checking in system was fast, by showing the ticket on the app. There are car park attendants ensuring you park in every other space to give some distance between you and other people when exiting your car. It was quite busy even for a tuesday during school term. All rides had markers on the floor so social distancing could be adhered to. Others had virtual queuing on the app but you can only virtual queue for 1 ride at a time even when the rides are 240minute waiting (peppa pig dinosaur ride). The splash park was open. Personally I found the experience not as enjoyable when I have previously gone but that may because it was busier and the queuing time on the virtual queuing system was too long.

My daughter has had all her dreams come true today 🐷 As a birthday present we took her to Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park She did not stop smiling all day ☺️ She is the biggest fan of Peppa & George... & today she met them!! 🐽🐽 She could go on all the rides with us, we got to go into Peppa's house, there is an outdoor playground, a massive indoor softplay with separate areas for different ages & the most amazing Peppa Pig gift shop 🐖 If you have a Peppa fan this place is an absolute must 🐷🐽🐖 We are looking forward to returning to check out the rest of Paultons Park 👍🏼

Peppa Pig World-FANTASTIC!!!! Loads of great rides for toddlers! A feast for the eyes. The splash park - muddy puddles - is awesome!! Can be long queues in summer as a warning. And food on offer for kids a bit naff and limited so best to take a picnic and loads of drink. We got an accommodation and two day pass deal by searching on google!  The Paultons park which houses Peppa Pig World has sooooo much more for the older kids too so well worth a family visit.  Seasonal so best check on site that it's open.
