Watermead is a small toy-town like village on the very edge of Aylesbury purpose-built 25-30 years ago. The houses are painted different colours (mine’s cream) and on either side of the access road is a wonderful lake. Both can be walked around and host glorious wildlife. From the larger lake, you end up at the piazza which is a pretty square facing out on the lake that holds a pub, hairdressers, vets, dentist, Chinese, mobility store, flower shop and convenience store. The pub (The Watermead Inn) is family friendly and does a good coffee, or glass/pint of whatever you’re having. They sell healthy duck food for only £1.
